The existing Juvenile Court facility was expanded by adding 56,000 square feet of detention and courtroom space. Facility detention construction is unique as all components of building must be secure and tamper proof. Mechanical and electrical systems are redundant for the safety of detainees and staff. In contrast, the courtroom area represents detail of quality finish carpentry.
