Pre-Engineering
San Luis County Agricultural Commissioner Utility Garage
Templeton, California
The San Luis County Agricultural Commissioner Utility Garage is a newly constructed support facility designed to enhance operational efficiency at the co-located dispatch center site in Templeton. This 3,301-square-foot metal shell storage building was engineered by American Buildings Company and constructed as part of the broader dispatch center development (Permit No. CBLD2022-00024).
The primary function of the facility is to provide secure and flexible storage for equipment and materials essential to the Agricultural Commissioner’s operations. The building includes a dedicated enclosed storage room for sensitive or high-value items, along with a unisex restroom to support onsite personnel.
Designed with durability and long-term functionality in mind, the pre-engineered metal structure offers a cost-effective and low-maintenance solution while meeting the operational needs of the County. The project integrates seamlessly with the adjacent dispatch center and shares site infrastructure, accessibility features, and overall site improvements that were approved under the main project scope.
This utility garage serves as a key supporting component of the larger public safety and operations campus, contributing to improved service capabilities and efficient resource management for San Luis County.
